The Matric Board Karachi, officially known as the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK), is the government examination board responsible for conducting and managing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations — commonly known as Matric exams — in Karachi.

Issuance of Matric Certificate (First Time)
This applies to students who have passed Matric exams but have not yet collected their original certificate.
Required Documents:
- Original Marksheets (9th & 10th Class)
- Photocopy of Admit Card (for class 10th)
- Photocopy of Enrollment/Registration Card
- Photocopy of CNIC or B-Form
- Passport-size Photographs (2 or 3 as per latest instructions)
- School Leaving Certificate (optional but recommended)
- Fee Payment Receipt / Challan Form
Reissuance / Duplicate Matric Certificate
This is for students who have lost, damaged, or misplaced their original certificate, or need corrections.
Required Documents:
- Application for Duplicate Certificate
- Affidavit on Rs. 50 or Rs. 100 Stamp Paper stating reason for loss/damage.
- FIR (Police Report) – Mandatory for lost certificate.
- Newspaper Advertisement (Public notice about loss of original certificate)
- Photocopy of CNIC/B-Form
- Photocopy of Original Certificate or Marksheets (if available)
- Passport-size Photographs
- Fee Payment Challan

The verification time for a matric certificate is approximately 10-15 working days.
